Delivery Terms and Risk

Strømøy Racing is not responsible for any delays in the delivery of your item caused by errors or delays from the shipping provider. All delivery times are indicative and deviations may occur. If your shipment is delayed or lost, we will do our utmost to assist you so that it can be received as quickly as possible. If you have not received your order within 10 business days after placing it, please contact us at info@starsonwater.com.

If, against all expectations, you do not receive your goods, you will of course be refunded the amount you paid.

The risk for the goods transfers to the buyer when the right of withdrawal expires (14 days after receiving the item). If the item has been damaged after the buyer received it, the right of withdrawal still applies unless the damage is due to negligence or lack of care on the customer’s part.

We recommend that you keep the original packaging. The item must be returned in its original packaging if you wish to use the right of withdrawal.

Right of Withdrawal

The Right of Withdrawal Act of December 21, 2000 (No. 105). The consumer may withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason within 14 days after the service provider has fulfilled their duty to provide information according to the Act and the item has been received. The deadline expires at the latest 3 months after receiving the item, or 1 year if information about the right of withdrawal has not been provided. The consumer must notify the service provider if exercising the right of withdrawal. The deadline is considered met if the notification is sent before it expires. No formal requirements apply to the notification, but it should be in writing for documentation purposes.

If the conditions for withdrawal are met, the service provider must refund all actual costs charged to the consumer. However, return costs must be covered by the consumer unless the service provider has breached the agreement or has delivered a replacement item because the original item was unavailable.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item purchased in the online store, you must notify us at info@starsonwater.com no later than 14 days after receiving the item. We will send a confirmation by email when the returned item has been received and the new item has been shipped.

Note: The exchanged item must be the same product or have the same value. If you want a different product, you must use the right of withdrawal and place a new order.

Always contact us at info@starsonwater.com before returning an item if you wish to make a complaint. A new or correct item will be sent as quickly as possible after we have received the defective or incomplete item from you.

Complaints

You must file a complaint within a reasonable time after discovering any defects or deficiencies in the item. Contact us by email or phone, refer to your order number, and describe the issue. We will evaluate whether the issue qualifies as a complaint under the Sales of Goods Act and case law. If you request a replacement, it will be sent at Strømøy Racing Online Store’s expense. If you request a refund, you must notify us. The refund will be processed within 14 days after we receive the returned item.

Complaints – Consumer Purchase Act of 2002. If the received item has defects, the buyer may claim remedies such as withholding payment, repair, replacement, price reduction, cancellation, or compensation in accordance with the law. This requires that the buyer acts within certain deadlines. In consumer purchases, the complaint deadline is generally two years after receiving the item. If the item is intended to last significantly longer, the deadline is extended to five years. Notification must be given within a reasonable time after the defect was discovered or should have been discovered. No formal requirements apply, but written notification is recommended. The complaint should specify which remedies the buyer wishes to claim. The service provider must cover all costs related to the complaint, including return shipping.

Orders

You can see available variations and colors for each product on the product page. Once your order is registered, you will receive an order confirmation by email. If you have questions about your order, contact us at info@starsonwater.com and include your order number and subject.

We reserve the right for possible inventory errors in the online store. If, unexpectedly, an item is out of stock, you will not be charged for products that cannot be delivered.

If you wish to cancel an order, you must contact us as soon as possible by phone or email. If the item has already been shipped, you must use the right of withdrawal.

Expected delivery time is 3–7 days.

Payment

Payment methods: We use VIPPS and Klarna as our payment solution. Card details are not stored, and all information is processed via SSL encryption.

Invoice Payment Terms

When paying via Klarna, you shop safely and easily. You never need to provide card information and always pay after receiving your goods. You can choose your payment options at Klarna.

VIPPS

The amount is reserved on your account immediately after placing the order and will not be available on your card until the reservation is released.

The amount will not be charged until the order is processed.

Installment payment options are available for card payments. The amount is charged when the item is shipped from our warehouse.
